In January 2022, MFD Rail successfully certifies its Green Financing Framework.

We do what we say. With the successful certification of our Green Financing Framework, we have created the basis for a sustainable and environmentally responsible financing of our growth.

We are convinced that rail freight transport is the solution to the apparent incompatibility of growing freight flows and climate protection goals. We therefor support the transformation of the economy and transportation towards “net-zero” through our sustainable service as fleet manager of a modern and highly efficient intermodal railcar fleet.

Based on our sustainability policy and the fact that our business activity is already making a sustainable contribution to reducing CO2, we have imposed a Green Financing Framework through which we will obtain part of the required growth financing as a “green loan”.
